Attendees/Participants at any Lake Linganore Association (LLA) event or present on common areas may be photographed. Spring Egg Hunt with the Bunny

Enjoy a morning with family, friends, and the Bunny! D&D Petting Zoo will open at 10:00 am to 11:30 am for children to interact with a variety of animals! Crafts to take home will also be available along with taking your picture with the Bunny! Parents, be sure to bring your cameras as you will not want to miss this moment!
Children will be able to collect up to TEN eggs- Parents, we will ask for your help to ensure that all children will be able to have some fun!
This event first comes, first serve. The first 350 children will be admitted. One spot per child. ***To ensure fairness, children must be present at check-in. Parents and guardians cannot hold spots in line for another child. Thank you for your understanding!***
Check in begins at 10am for the registrants. The hunt will begin at approximately 10:45 am. Red Envelope Coffees will be in attendance for beverages to purchase.
*In the event of inclement weather, the hunt will move to the rain date (March 29). If the forecast is calling for severe inclement weather for the entire weekend, the event will be cancelled. An e-mail will be sent Friday, March 27 to members.

Each team consist of 2 members (please only purchase 1 ticket and bring your teammate with you!). Points are scored only by the serving team. Games are play to 11 points, with a win by 2.

LLA Halloween Décor Contest

Think you have the best decorated Halloween House in Lake Linganore? Submit ONE single photo to events@lakelinganore.org of your decorated holiday house between October 5 through October 15 to be voted on the Member Portal! Residents can vote on the best decorated house starting October 16 through October 22 by viewing the submitted photo or driving by in person.
The winners will be announced on Friday, October 23 in the Friday Flyer. First, second, and third place will be featured in LakeTalk!
By submitting an entry, you are agreeing to have your information released to the members of the community so they may drive by your home to view the decorations. Your information and photo to be shared in LakeTalk should you win.

Teen Haunted Trails

Lake Linganore is hosting its annual Haunted Trail! The trail begins at the Events Tent, and groups will be escorted through the trail. TEENS AND ADULTS ARE WELCOMED TO VOLUNTEER! Volunteers must be at least 13 years old in order to participate (or a parent/legal guardian must be present the night of the event.)
Parking will be marked at the Events Tent. For safety purposes, please pay close attention to the area marked for parking. Overflow parking is available at the Coldstream Pool Parking Lot.

Trail Schedule:
6-7 pm: Elementary hour 1*
7:20 to 8:20 pm: Elementary hour 2*
8:40 to 9:50 pm: Final groups go on the trail. If there are remaining “elementary hour” groups that have not gone on the trail, they will be given glow sticks to signify such.
*The characters will do their best to have a tame version of the trail, but we cannot guarantee an individual not to be scared.
Please note the following: Trail characters are volunteers and will take two breaks (15 minutes each). Waiting in line for an excess of 30 minutes may occur.
Strobe lights will be used on the trail.
NOTE: The Disc Golf course will be non-usable on Saturday, October 10, starting at 12 pm for Haunted Trail set up. Haunted Trail cleanup will be mostly completed Saturday and finished on Monday, October 12.

Trunk n’ Treat
Thursday, October 22 @ The Eaglehead Preserve Social Hall Parking Lot (11330 Country Club Road)

Join us for a family friendly evening filled with costumes, candies, and treats! Lake Linganore’s first Trunk n’ Treat is here to celebrate the spooky season with you! We are looking for 15 to 20 vehicles or golf carts to volunteer that will decorate their rides and hand out treats and fun goodies to help bring the Halloween spirit to the neighborhoods kiddos! Volunteers are responsible for purchasing enough candy and/or goodies (stickers, pencils, bouncy balls, ect.) for at least 300 to 400 little ghouls and goblins to pass out. This event is first come, first serve, while supplies last.
Grilled Cheese Please will be in attendance for food to purchase.

21+ Costume Party

Turkey Trot Fun Run
Saturday, November 21 @ The Eaglehead Preserve Social Hall (11330 Country Club Road)
Time: 11 am to 12:30 pm (rain or shine)
Lace up your sneakers and get ready for a day of fitness, fun, and community spirit! Dress up in your best Thanksgiving themed celebration gear and bring you family and leashed pets for a Fun Run around the pathed path at the West Winds Rental Hall. Yard games and bond fires to roast marshmallows will be available for all. Make sure to check-in at the event to collect a raffle ticket for some amazing prizes that will be given out at the end of the event!
In10se BBQ and Red Envelope Coffees will be in attendance for food to purchase. The Fun Run will begin at 11:30 am and the raffle prizes will begin at 12:15 pm.
