Safety Brief: Emergency Situation Update

Please be advised that there was a Construction Site Accident on Eaglehead Drive this afternoon. The emergency response effort is active and ongoing. Utilities may be affected (specifically water service and water pressure). We ask that residents remain patient as emergency crews work to respond to the accident.

Please note that no residents, including children, are involved. We will do our best to keep you informed, however at this time we anticipate utility service interruptions for the duration of the evening. We expect the response effort and an investigation to carry over to tomorrow.

Attention DCES Parents

Bus routes 530 and 581 are blocked from making neighborhood dropoffs due to an emergency response in the Lake Linganore area. If your child rides one of these buses and has not been dropped off at the normal time, please contact the DCES office: 240-236-5900.

You will need to pick up your child as soon as possible.

DCES will supervise students at school until they are picked up.

Traffic Re-Direction Guidance

Residents in Woodridge, Aspen and Audubon North, must use the Construction Entrance on Gas House Pike to get to their homes.

Residents in Northshore must use Coldstream Drive to get to their homes.
