Updates on the Nightingale Walking Path and Bus Stop Relocation

12/7/17

The asphalt walking path from Nightingale Court to Boyers Mill Road to allow for the Nightingale Village bus stop relocation is complete. There will be soil and seed added when weather permits.

Frederick County Public Schools (FCPS) approved the Nightingale Village school bus stop relocation to begin on Monday, December 11. Buses will pick up and drop off on Nightingale Ct. at the Emergency Exit on the Boyers Mill Road side. The installed asphalt walking path allows access to and from the bus stop.

FCPS advised LLA that parents/guardians will also receive written notification in the form of a memo from their student on this change.

12/6/17

The asphalt walking path is complete in Nightingale.  LLA staff is working with FCPS to schedule an official start date to using that bus stop.  There will be soil and seed added when weather allows.

During the week of December 4, crews will be working on the asphalt walking path from Nightingale Court to Boyers Mill Road to allow for the bus stop relocation.Thank you for your patience.
