Bulletins
7/13/10: COLDSTREAM ESPLANADE CLOSED: Due to separation of a section of the Coldstream esplanade, it will be closed until further notice. Structural engineers are assessing the situation and will be making recommendations to LLA management on the best course of action. Until necessary actions are taken, the esplanade will remained closed to the public. Also, for parents, please advise all family members that this includes any jumping from the structure.
LLA management apologizes for any inconvenience, however, must first consider the safety of members.
- UPDATE 7/16/10 - Engineers have completed their inspection of the esplanade and will be providing a report and recommendations to LLA management next week. However, this appears to an issue that will not be a quick fix and may take many weeks to prepare and complete the repairs.
- UPDATE 7/28/10 - The esplanade will remain closed through at least the end of September
until the engineers can complete the structural review and provide
further direction. This review will require a draw down of the lake to
inspect the foundations, therefore, the LLA Board of Directors has
decided it would be in the communities best interest to keep the lake at
it's current level through the remainder of the summer season.
