BEACH / TRAIL RULES (updated 6/13/09)
These rules are posted at the beach locations and have been distributed to all LLA members by US Mail, community newspaper, and on the LLA website.
BEACH HOURS OF USE - 7:00AM-10:00PM DAILY
TRAIL HOURS OF USE – 5:00AM – 10:00PM DAILY
- Beaches and trails are for the use of LLA members in good standing. VALID LLA MEMBERSHIP CARDS MUST BE CARRIED BY ALL MEMBERS TO USE BEACHES / TRAILS. MEMBERS OR THOSE WHO DO NOT DISPLAY VALID MEMBERSHIP CARDS WHEN ASKED WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE BEACH/TRAIL. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Owner members are permitted up to ten (10) guests. More than ten guests will require authorization from the LLA General Manager. TENANTS, MINOR CHILDREN, AND OTHER FAMILY AND HOUSEHOLD MEMBERS MAY HAVE UP TO TWO (2) GUESTS.
- The trails are for walking, jogging, bicycles and golf carts. LOITERING OR GATHERING GROUPS ON THE TRAIL OR ESPLANADE IS NOT PERMITTED.
- Dogs must be on a leash and under the control of the member at all times. Dogs are NOT PERMITTED on the beach between Memorial Day and Labor Day until after 7:00PM.
- CODE OF CONDUCT: Members and their guests are expected to conduct themselves in an orderly manner while using any LLA amenity. Offensive language / behavior will lead to removal from the beach/trail and other possible sanctions.
- Amenity parking areas require a valid LLA parking tag be displayed on vehicles. Vehicles with no tags or expired tags will be towed at the sole expense of the owner. Please contact LLA immediately if your tag is expired. Vehicles are not permitted to be operated or parked on any amenity area without prior written approval from LLA management.
- NO LIFEGUARDS ON DUTY – Swim at your own risk.
- Outdoor fires are not permitted. Use of fireworks on any amenity area is prohibited.
- Glass bottles are not permitted on any amenity area.
- A valid State of Maryland fishing license is required to fish in any community lake. Bass fishing is restricted to catch and release only.
