WestWinds ECC Guideline for:

Home Additions; Garage; Sunroom; Screened-in Porch; and Screened-in Deck

Adopted July 5, 2006 by WW ECC/Revised October 15, 2008

Supersedes all previous WW ECC Guidelines for Home Additions etc.

Application requests for the construction of the above type structures are to be submitted to the WestWinds Environmental Control Committee.

An Application Form and Information Sheet can be found in the WW Community Directory or may be downloaded from the LLA web site at www.lakelinganore.org., click on WestWinds, and scroll to Application Sheet/Form.

Request to include:

  1. Completed Application Form.
  2. Site Plan showing house location with proposed structure and distance to property lines.
  3. Drawing or photograph of proposed structure showing walls, windows, doors, roof, etc., including dimensions and elevations.
  4. Material list including photograph or brochure showing samples of materials to be used (roof, windows, doors, siding and/or stone/brick, etc.). If pressure treated lumber is used (state whether wood will be natural or stained, and if stained provided color sample).
  5. Color samples of roof, door/window trim, siding, etc. with photograph of existing house to show that structure will compliment color scheme of house.
  6. Landscape Plan surrounding structure if landscaping is part of the project. Provide names of shrubbery/trees and include final growth height/width of each.
  7. $150 application review fee + $1,500 compliance deposit (separate checks are to be submitted).
