WestWinds ECC Guideline for:

Home Addition; Garage; Sunroom; Screened-in Porch/Deck

Supersedes all previous WW ECC Guidelines for Additions

Reference Article VI, Architectural Standards, Section 1, Environmental Control Committee, C. of the WestWinds Covenants: “The WestWinds Environmental Control Committee (ECC) shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all construction (including original construction and any and all modifications, alterations and/or additions thereto) and landscaping on any portion of the Properties”.

Procedure for Submission:

An application package is to be postmarked no later than the last Friday of the month. The ECC meets on the first Wednesday of each month to conduct a preliminary review of applications received during the previous month by the established deadline.

Request to include:

1. WestWinds ECC Application Form (copy in the WW Community Directory or may be accessed via the LLA web site at www.lakelinganore.org. Click on WestWinds for WW Village Information and ECC Application Form.

2. Site plan showing location of proposed structure and final appearance.

3. Drawing or photograph of proposed structure showing placement of windows, doors, fireplaces, etc.; and a brief description of the project.

4. Dimensions of structure and drawing of all elevations (show all sides, and indicate height from ground level).

5. Materials list such as aluminum or vinyl siding, brick, stone, pressure treated lumber (state whether wood will be natural or stained), etc.

6. Color swatches for all materials stated above, including roof color; and paint/stain color of doors, windows, etc.

7. Landscape plan surrounding structure if landscaping is part of the project. Provide names of shrubbery/trees and include final growth height/width of each.

8. Appropriate Application/Review fee as follows:

$150 + $1,500 compliance deposit for home additions or garage;

$150 (no compliance deposit) for sunroom, screened-in porch/deck.
