MEETING MINUTES
v Election of Officers
15 proxy ballots and 4 ballots were received unanimously electing Ed Duafala as village chairperson and Dick Fisher as village vice-chair.
v Beth Eller was appointed as secretary
v ECC violations
It was resolved that the committee will work with the ECC to increase compliance with covenants. Of particular concern are the flyers taped to the mailboxes. Village residents should feel free to remove anything taped to the mailboxes.
v Bulletin Board
It was resolved that a larger bulletin board is needed to replace the existing one near the mailboxes. The Committee will ask the LLA to provide materials and seek volunteers from the village for construction. Part of the bulletin board will be restricted to official Meadows Village and LLA business, part will be open to LLA residents.
v Village website
It was resolved that the web page that is part of the LLA web site should be utilized to communicate with village residents. The committee will request volunteers from the village to develop content and lay out that will create interest in the web page.
v Landscape Committee
It was resolved that the committee would develop a job description for a Landscape Committee, and seek volunteers from the village for the committee.
v Maintenance
Ed Duafala reported that the LLA is scheduling roadway and drainage repairs to occur over the next few weeks.
The following suggestions for improvements were made:
1. Install speed limit signs and request increased enforcement to control speeding on Fox Chase Drive.
2. Install a trash can and bag dispenser for pet waste near the mailboxes.
3. Organize a community clean-up/cut your own firewood day, followed by a village cookout.
