The LLA board, upon a
recommendation by the ECC, approved the use of vinyl siding in the community.
All siding must be approved by the ECC. Specific manufacturer/brands or
materials specification are not outlined because products, materials and color
names change frequently. Instead the ECC requires that a sample of the product
desired by the applicant be submitted with the application for review by the
committee. In general the ECC requires a vinyl product that has a wood-grain
appearance with a chip lap or Dutch lap. Colors of vinyl siding will need to
meet the approved colors for community homes. (Check with the compliance
administrator regarding acceptable colors and see ECC
Guidelines for more details.)
